Purva Shah

A mother with stories to tell

Purva is a young mother and an entrepreneur, who believes that stories are the best way to build a child’s creativity, language, and character. It is this belief that has led her to conduct storytelling programmes during her experience as an educator. She has conducted workshops for kids as young as 2 year old and has also taught Senior KG students.

Purva has a treasure trove of more than 100 indigenous storybooks with tales from our land that she would like to share with children other than hers too. She has a keen interest in Montessori education and early learning practices and has implemented them with her own daughter.

“inside each of us is a natural-born storyteller, waiting to be released.”
- robin moore

Enter a world of enchantment and imagination as you listen to tales that you can relate to - Indian folklores, animal fables, or simply concocted stories that reflect our culture and ethos.

What better way than chronicles that also orient kids with Indian values and culture? This workshop introduces children to the stories of India - real and imaginary, and encourages them to express themselves creatively.

Through several tools like hand puppets & props, shadow play, playdough, and sensorial activities & discussions, Purva will help children internalize stories and build their communication skills.
