1. What kind of programmes are run by The Hive?

The Hive runs hobby-based programmes aimed at developing skills or providing a leisurely enterprise. These include those pertaining to fine arts, theatre, photography, board gaming, martial arts, yoga, reading, gardening, pottery making, and more for the young and seniors alike. The programmes offer an opportunity for creative expression by kindling your passion.

2. Does The Hive offer certification courses?

The Hive’s objective is to provide an atmosphere for stimulating creativity, fostering new learning, and reviving old hobbies. It does not offer certificate or degree courses in any discipline, although certificates of participation may be accorded for certain workshops.

3. What is HiVirtual?

HiVirtual is our virtual footprint. Because creativity cannot be restricted to a physical space or setting, The Hive offers programmes & events on the virtual platform as well. Most of our workshops will be conducted on the Zoom platform. Our Discord chat channels will also be operational for a majority of the programmes.

4. What are the timings of The Hive?

In its physical space, The Hive operates from 7am to 8pm IST. In the virtual space, it buzzes 24x7.

5. How can I register for a workshop?

Workshop registrations can be done either at our physical facility, or online through our website. Transactions are facilitated through the Instamojo payment gateway.

6. What if any workshop is cancelled after registration?

In the event of The Hive cancelling any of its workshops for any reason, registered participants will be refunded the entire amount within 15 business days.

7. Can I claim refund if I cancel before a programme begins?

Yes, most programmes offer a 50-75% refund in case of cancellations by participants. The refund and cancellation policy for each programme will be posted on its respective page. Refunds will be issued within 15 business days of request.

8. Can I plan and conduct workshops at The Hive?

The Hive plans programmes based on the interests of its members. It invites personalities from different fields to conduct these programmes. The Hive retains the rights to structure and promote the programmes in association with the programme instructor. If you are interested in designing a programme for The Hive, please write to info@the-hive.in with the subject line ‘PROGRAMME DESIGN.’

9. How does The Hive use my personal information?

The Hive collects personal details provided by you for sending you a fortnightly newsletter featuring upcoming events. It does not sell or give access to this information to any third party or commercial enterprises. However, in the event of a fraud where your information is willfully stolen, The Hive will not be responsible for the loss of personal data.

10. What are the rules for the use of physical space at The Hive?

The Hive welcomes hobbyists to make the most of its vibrant & stimulating atmosphere, keeping the following rules in mind:

  • The Hive is located in a residential area. Please conduct your activities quietly to cause minimum interference to the residents around.

  • All vehicles are to be parked the society’s gate in the space designated for The Hive, or in empty parking slots around.

  • The Hive shall not be responsible for your person or property in its premises.

  • Loss, damage or destruction of The Hive’s property will be liable to action as deemed fit by the managers of the hub.
