bring alive your deity:
ganesh sarjan
Using your hands to play with any kind of clay only demands an excuse. This time the occasion is the celebration of the arrival of the Lord of new beginnings from Mount Kailash to the Earth.
Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, design your very own Ganpati Bappa, much the same way his mother moulded him using earth. Mark the festival by creating a 3D image of your Ganesh with modelling clay on canvas. Sculpt out the elephant-headed deity’s characteristic paunch and give a freehand shape to his prehensile nose. Fuss over creating miniature laddoos, the Lord’s trinkets, and his indispensible mouse.
Brighten up your creation with strokes of your favourite festive palette. The enthusiastic may even add a lively background on the canvas. Either way, your tactile senses are destined to go on a roll.
