Riddhi Patel
An Artist at Heart
"Art equals self expression" is a tenet that Riddhi ardently believes in. And Art comes as naturally to Riddhi as does Science. An MS in Microbiology and Genetics, Riddhi has been passionately devoted to arts through several creative pursuits – be they painting, writing poems, dancing, or cooking.
Riddhi’s passion for arts prompted her to instruct as a Visual Art teacher at an Ahmedabad-based school. Being curious about learning art herself and honing her existing skill set, she subsequently pursued Visual Arts from The Kanoria Centre for Arts. Currently, she practices painting and experiments with different media. Her goal is to thoroughly enjoy the process of art rather than the product alone.
Riddhi believes that there is an artist in everyone, who can be brought out through opportunities for creative immersion.
explore, imagine, express.
a tryst with colours
Colour is one of the most attractive elements of art. It is also one of the most powerful. Colour can influence emotions, alter thinking, and even affect our health. It is a compelling form of communication that conveys universal messages (green for go, red for stop) and governs harmony in design.

This workshop builds on an intuitive sense that children have for colours, encourages them to explore colours and their symbolism through different media, and express what they imagine. What’s more, colour exploration is never tiring because it involves as much merriment as learning.
