“get the fundamentals down and the level of everything you do will rise.”

- michael jordan

Art is an activity that taps on imagination and expressions. With the right technical skill it can be a powerful medium of communication for an artist. When this intent is backed with a lot of practice, it can create magic.

"Think out of the box! Be Creative! Innovate!" All these words are often given as advice. What no one tells you is 'what this box is'! One has to learn how to draw a line before one can illustrate a horse and then improvise the form to express, as done by the famous artist late M F Hussain.

The objective of this programme is to handhold participants on an exploratory journey of art, where they are exposed to both - the technical as well as the subjective aspects of art. Each age group will go through the process of learning the skills, dabble with different art styles, and explore varied media to move from Fundamentals to Improvisation and build on their creativity. The process will be chronicled through a portfolio to record the journey of their growth.

The workshops will culminate with a display of selected artworks of the participants at The Hive.
