Darshini's tryst with art began at a young age when she commenced creative exploration with kids at early development schools. In the 15 years since then, the ever-resourceful instructor has delighted children of all ages with her innovative & educational projects, organized fun-filled birthdays and events, taken young ones on nature walks, and choreographed kids' fashion shows.
With her remarkably infectious never-give-up attitude, Darshini longs to continue her journey of artistic discoveries with children and adults alike.

Meet the mysterious material that is omnipresent – from within the automotive industry and casinos, to in musical instruments and home construction. Find out why it dampens sound vibrations and holds large amounts of fluids without feeling wet.
Above all, indulge in the sheer joy of making different articles from colourful ‘Felt’ – purses, mug warmers, magnets, and more. All without stitching and sewing. The course is built around exploring a popularly-used but lesser-known textile, understanding its properties, and history. Learn how efficiently Felt can be used to make different decorative items even without a needle. Magic can be created when you play with new mediums in art!

1. What resources will I need for this workshop?

Plenty of enthusiasm and an open mind. And yes, your masks, sanitizers, and water bottles. The rest, we'll provide at The Hive. You'll get your individual Felt-making kits to create beautiful articles.

2. What safety precautions will be taken at The Hive?
​
Our premises will be sanitized before the workshop. We will be working in small groups and social distancing norms will be strictly followed. Masks are compulsory at all times during the workshop. However, the participants are responsible for their own health & safety.

Attendee changes can be accommodated up to 14 days prior to the event.
