Binal Kamdar is the founder of TeachSTEAM™. She is a LEGO Education® enthusiast, STEAM-based hands-on curriculum designer & Teachers’ trainer. She is also one of the first certified Six Bricks Lead Trainer of India.
She has been developing LEGO-based content for children aged 3-13 years & training teachers to promote hands-on education & learning through play since 2005. She has also taken up various other roles as an educator in the STEM field including:

Early Engineering is a tech-free hands-on solution that brings physical science to life. This workshop is for children from Grade 1 to 6.
In this workshop the children :

will learn and experiment with Force & Motion.

will learn what, why & how of Simple Machines, Explore the fundamentals of Gears, Pulleys, Wheel & Axle & Levers, Build the real world machines.

will learn about Powered Machines, Energy & Measurement with Powered Mechanisms, Strengthen STEM Skills, Develop Design Engineering skills
TeachSTEAM specializes in enrichment programs that aim to encourage diversified thinking and a creative approach to embracing challenges. Programs are offered in an inclusive group setting, with emphasis on each individual child learning and developing at their own pace.
Learning becomes fun when children explore, build & learn using LEGO & the STEAM approach.

1. What resources will a child need to bring for this programme?

Happy hearts and a keen mind, which all children are innately blessed with. The rest will be provided as part of the programme. ​

We will be working in small groups. Our instructors and staff are fully vaccinated. Masks are recommended when in close proximity. However, the participants are responsible for their own health & safety.

Cancellation Policy: In the unlikely event of The Hive cancelling any of its workshops for any reason, registered participants will be refunded the entire amount within 15 business days. Course dropouts by participants will be eligible for refund as follows: 30+ days before the event - 75% refund; 15-30 days before the event: 50% refund; less than 15 days - 0% refund. Attendee changes can be accommodated up to 14 days prior to the event.
