Darshini's tryst with art began at a young age when she commenced creative exploration with kids at early development schools. In the 15 years since then, the ever-resourceful instructor has delighted children of all ages with her innovative & educational projects, organized fun-filled birthdays and events, taken young ones on nature walks, and choreographed kids' fashion shows.
With her remarkably infectious never-give-up attitude, Darshini longs to continue her journey of artistic discoveries with children and adults alike.

a tryst with colours
Colour is one of the most attractive elements of art. It is also one of the most powerful. Colour can influence emotions, alter thinking, and even affect our health. It is a compelling form of communication that conveys universal messages (green for go, red for stop) and governs harmony in design.

This workshop builds on an intuitive sense that children have for colours, encourages them to explore colours and their symbolism through different media, and express what they imagine. What’s more, colour exploration is never tiring because it involves as much merriment as learning.

1. What resources will children need to bring for this class?
​
Happy hands and lots of excitement. The Hive will provide the colours, papers, and any other material needed for the programme. And yes, please also send their masks and sanitizers.

2. What safety precautions will be taken at The Hive?
​
Our premises are sanitized regularly. We will be working in small groups and social distancing norms will be strictly followed. Masks are compulsory when indoors or within close proximity.

Cancellation Policy: In the unlikely event of The Hive cancelling any of its programmes for any reason, registered participants will be refunded the entire amount within 15 business days. Course dropouts by participants will be eligible for refund as follows: 30+ days before the event - 75% refund; 15-30 days before the event: 50% refund; less than 15 days - 0% refund. Attendee changes can be accommodated up to 14 days prior to the event.
